Gmail to Mail

Since the ceasefire of the Korean War in 1953, North and South Korean citizens haven’t been able to communicate with one another. This is especially tragic considering the fact that families were torn apart during the war and some people haven’t seen their spouses in over 50 years. Since Gmail is a company that connects its users to the world at large through technology, we came up with an idea called Gmail to Mail that could bridge the gap between communication lines on both sides of Korea. By way of converting emails into physical mail and vice versa, Gmail to Mail will provide a way for tech savvy South Koreans to communicate with their technologically deprived North Korean family members.
