The Glass House is a historic house museum on Ponus Ridge Road in New Canaan, Connecticut. It was built in 1949 and designed by Philip Johnson as his own residence. The project was to rebrand and redesign its whole identity and platform. The logo and brand identity were derived from the minimal geometry, proportion, and the structure of the building. From these guidelines, the entire identity and website were redesigned for The Glass House. The website and app were created from site mapping the contents to vanilla wireframes. The menu bar for the website was reconstructed from disassembling the architecture of The Glass House. The website was designed for both desktop and mobile platforms in consideration of easy user experience.
