The first portions of this series of pictures were taken focusing on New York City’s overpopulation. Four years ago when I first landed in NYC, the city’s hectic crowds were challenging for me to adapt to. However, as time went by, I started to familiarize with the masses of people and wanted to spread the message that even though it can get overwhelming at times, some people still find occasions to be alone and are able to enjoy it. I wanted to promote the acceptance of solo experiences in the city, showing how one can have fun even when alone.
