Temporary New York Life is a photography and typography zine which includes photographs that I took during my college time in New York. I included Allen Ginsberg’s poem Howl, Sylvia Plath’s poem Ariel & Mirror, and Patti Smith’s book Just Kids and used experimental typography and innovative layouts. Each of the poets had experiences in New York and I felt deeply touched when I read their lines. I took these photos on the various streets and tourist spots of New York, such as the Staten Island Ferry, to show the “real” New York. The free spirit of New York was expressed through the multitudes of New Yorkers' personalities accompanied by the multitudes of typographic experiments.
