Once in a while, the menstrual blood can leak to the underwear. My mom often tells me, “Don’t you feel ashamed having blood on your underwear and put it away before dad sees it.” But I don’t don’t understand why I have to be ashamed. Why can’t women feel comfortable speaking about menstruation in our society? We as a woman should feel free to talk about menstruation to each other. Period.
