Through this project, I explored the relationship between form and meaning, and designed a set of symbols to form my visual language. Inspired by iPhone Album's AI system that categorizes photos into specific themes, I wanted to make a visual system that defines particular memories. My goal was to bring the digital album into the physical world by creating a set of symbols called 'Memory Album.' Then I incorporate the symbols into a collection of graphic materials (Posters, Business Cards, Photo Envelopes, Cassette Tape Covers, Stickers, and a Key Card). Plus, by launching a Design Shop in class, we learned how to apply the visual system to each object considering its function and concept.
