Driftwood Social Club (DSC) is an amateur swim community for all skill levels to enjoy the often-overlooked sport. Floating is encouraged as the tides bring new destinations and discoveries. DSC takes visual cues from traffic signs as the journey is a valued foundation of the club. The tides, like wayfinding, guide driftwood to their unknown destination. Over time, the wood transforms from rough bark to smooth lumber, just as “swammers” learn to jump into the deep end of going with the flow after years of self-competition.
