Bamboo is a very common material for making furniture. As a sustainable material, it has strong plasticity and toughness, and can be bent to a curvature that wood cannot achieve. China is the first country in the world to use bamboo products. Bamboo relics have been found in the Hemudu primitive society site in Yuyao County, Zhejiang Province, nearly 7,000 years ago. It shows that bamboo as a ustainable material has been used by people since ancient times.
So I designed this logo by combining the traditional Chinese cloud patterns with the curvature formed by bending bamboo, and applied the elements of cloud pattern and bamboo to the overall design. The design of C and R is a combination of moire design.
