Eye

Eye Eye Eye Eye Eye
The word ‘eye’ in English shares the same pronunciation as the Chinese word ‘love’ (爱). This story is about a girl born with only one eye on a distant planet. Despite her ability to bring her drawings to life, she yearns for a second eye. So she starts traveling around the universe to find her second eye. Along the way, she encounters various objects—a tennis ball, a gemstone, even stars—but none satisfy her. When she stumbles upon a lonely asteroid devoid of light, she draws a sun to illuminate it. For all the creatures on this asteroid, it is their first time seeing the world. Through her actions, she realizes that she brings happiness to others, much like her own family’s love for her. Finally, she reconciles with herself, returns home, and lives happily ever after.
