I have always been intrigued by extended letters. Recently I was inspired by Paula Scher’s work for the New School visual identity program–her use of extended letters encouraged me to experiment. It became clear to me that I wanted to push the proportions, to see how long an extended letter can be. The results of my experimentation are presented here: I have created the world’s longest extended typeface.
