The concept of this book is based on the quote "the calm before the storm". There's something about seconds before chaos. It’s peaceful and then you’re pushed into a wild journey. As a result this is a textural book showing inspirational imagery designed to speak to the five human senses. Each page evokes a calm and soothing state. The process is derived from self-discovery. What kind of work influences me as an designer? More so what were my values and beliefs? Thus began a journey of thoughtful curation of artists who influences my work.
