A type specimen book based on the poem by Walt Whitman, Oh Captain My Captain. The approach taken was to create a series of "articles" that refer to clippings of the Civil War while at the same time function as individual books with individual content. The first is primarily about the poem and author, the second grounds the poem in a historical context, and the last provides information on the typeface, typographer and foundry.
