Using Google’s power to make NYC a easier place
for elderly.
From research and observation, I believe being alone
is the biggest issue of elderly in NYC. It causes all kinds of problems to their lives. This application builds
a connection between the volunteers and the elderlies,
so the elderlies can find volunteers to go out with them to finish their daily activities. Elderly will be more willing to go out and to communicate with people. This small move will make elderly’s life a big change. On the other side, the volunteers find a chance to make their time more meaningful to our society.
The Google products will be using are Gmail (Signing up), Maps, and Google Voice (making phone calls).
