A Redesign of the iconic National Geographic magazine. After looking at the past and current editions , I believe that improvements could be made. When this magazine was first created, it was under the advisement of Gilbert Hovey Grosvenor. Grosvenor is considered one of the fathers of photojournalism, but I believed than an injustice has been done when the photos, although beautiful and well-taken, were not displayed in their full glory. In order to truly have the audience get closer to the stories that matter, the National Geographic Magazine should be able to not only redesign, but reform itself with a humanistic approach and be able to provide true insight through its use of photography.
