Last year, 2.1million Americans had their phones stolen and even with safeguards like Find My iphone, people are still having a hard time getting their phones back. In fact, thieves can just simply turn the stolen phones off and make them untraceable. Thieves usually force turn off the stolen phone immediately, and thieves and owners are the most likely only people that force turn off their phone. We make the new iOS to require owners to Face Unlock before they turn off the phone. When the Face Unlock doesn't recognize user's face, it will simply take a photo of the person and save it to iCloud, which will be available for the owners to report if their phone was stolen.
