Rose Center for Earth and Space

Rose Center for Earth and Space Rose Center for Earth and Space Rose Center for Earth and Space Rose Center for Earth and Space
This is a self-initiated rebrand project for The Rose Center for Earth and Space, within the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The Rose Center focuses on the nature of galaxies and the dynamic features of planet Earth. Its subject matter and architectural structure stand apart from the rest of AMNH. Astronomy is one of my interests, so it was fun for me to create this exclusive identity. From the physical architecture of the Rose Center, to celestial and planetary orbits, to astronomical diagrams, I noticed that there are quite a lot of circular shapes going on. So I began with a circle representing the Rose Center, and developed six other symbols based on the circular form, also inspired by common astronomical subjects. They work as a system within applications like posters and tickets.
