This is a motion graphic project about the transition period between winter and summer. I've been living in New York City for over three years, and almost every winter is painful for me. I get depressed and never want to go outside. People wear dark and grayish clothes every day, and every single corner of the city looks sad. Summer comes pretty quickly, but most people don’t notice spring. I hope this piece reminds people of the seasonal transition during which the city comes back to life. This year in particular, everybody is going through an unusually hard time. There are beautiful spring views outside, but we can't go out and enjoy any of it. So for everyone's health and safety, please enjoy this beautiful and digital spring view I've created.
