HOUYI is a self-service hotpot restaurant located in the East Village. This restaurant opened in 2015. I interviewed the staff to learn about the restaurant concept. Houyi doesn’t do any promotion. They don't even have a name on the storefront because they believe that if customers are satisfied with the food, they will tell their friends about it.
