This is the logo design for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. I chose the circle from the Japanese national flag as the subject and cut the edge into the shape of sakura and combined it with Olympics rings to form the shape of a flower. Japanese are always fond of flowers; this is also the reason why I combined flowers with the Olympics. The flowers may look fragile, but each of the petals is trying to show the best of it. This is the same for the Olympics games, even with the cancellation of Tokyo 2020 Olympics due to the epidemic, I still wish all mankind will rely on each other and stick together like the flowers, and this is also another aspect of the Olympic Spirit.
