This is the trailer of JIKATABI produced for sou sou Tokyo. Different from TABI, JIKATABI is a new type of shoes that combines TABI and plimsolls. To me, JIKATABI is the perfect combination of classical and contemporary Japanese cultures. In the video, I presented the combination and evolution of JIKATABI, while also interlacing the video with the performance of classical and contemporary Japanese cultures to demonstrate how JIKATABI emerged as a unique culture under the clash of different cultures. TABI also means !'traveling!( in Japanese, so why not go on a travel with JIKATABI.
