Big Gay Ice Cream is a staple on the Lower East Side. It is inviting, lively, and fun. The custom hand-drawn logotype is as big, bold, and expressive as it can be while still being legible. Pairing the custom logotype with Caslon gives the brand a more serious and structured element to stand on. Titles of the type are set in all-caps Caslon to mimic how the Declaration of Independence is typeset.
