The Mütter Museum is a medical museum located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, established in 1863. It contains a large collection of anatomical and pathological specimens. The inspiration for the brand identity came from human anatomy, the shapes of human organs and cells. Each letter in the typeface is created to look uniform and identical, with little deformations to look distinct from others. This ties to the museum's idea of showcasing various specimens in repetition. The specimens in the same category such as skulls are put side by side on display, ultimately they are the same, the difference is that each has a certain type of pathology.
