Pandememeic is three zines in one (Volume 1: Twitter, Volume 2: TikTok, and Volume 3: Instagram). The 2019 pandemic forced everyone indoors and online, and with that memes grew bigger than ever due to the highest-ever traffic online. The Pandememeic Zine Collection was created with my SVA classmate Josefina Costa. We spray-painted an iPhone box gold and used neon bright paper, making both the phone and the apps the shiny objects that they are, in print form. Looking through these zines, you would never even know there's a deadly pandemic going on. It is a play on the human psyche during grim and technologically advanced times.
