My custom-designed typeface Flamboyant expresses a humous attitude of a parody and creates a playful modern interpretation of an old theatrical genre. Unlike traditional serious opera styles, this elaborate typeface becomes a foundation for a branding system emphasizing the most exuberant and extravagant aspects of opera: exaggerated emotions, volume, curly wigs, fancy merchandise, and an overall exciting theatrical experience.
