"Instead of food, we’re consuming 'edible foodlike substances'—no longer the products of nature, but of food science," said Michael Pollan in his book In Defense of Food. Processed: From Deconstruction to Reconstruction is an exhibition to bring attention to how much processed food people are consuming nowadays and to encourage people eat more natural food. The identity system is based on a custom typeface inspired by "Nutritionism" in western diets, which arose because of problems caused by processed food.
