FLOAT is a dining setting experience that toys with the viewer's perception of reality. The table and its contents are tilted up on one corner as if gravity had—all of a sudden—switched its course.
Each item is suspended using industrial-strength mounting tape and the table cloth has been frozen-solid after being soaked in fabric hardener. The spilling liquid is a clear resin material, textured to appear to be water.
