The Five Poisons in Buddhism refer to the five minds of greed, hatred, delusion, arrogance, and doubt. These five minds will cause us to do evil karma, just like poisons that hinder our practice.
Eliminating the five poisonous hearts is an important job for practitioners and Buddhists. If the five poisonous minds still exist, the result may become evil power or various evil methods. Therefore, to pursue the Buddhist path, the five poisons must be eliminated first.
