Redesign of the Mütter Museum, school, and historical collection of anatomical and pathological specimens, wax models, and antique medical equipment. The academic sophistication aspect was represented with the transitional-serif typeface Baskerville. The unsettling and uneasy quality caused by the morbid subject came alive through my customized typeface. As stated in the book Type Tricks by Sofie Beier, every letter has its basic structure: the skeleton. The design system revolves around the custom Baskerville, which is partially chopped, showing off its frame and embracing its unique architectural presence.
