The Carta International Student Film Festival gives opportunity and a venue for young filmmakers working in a range of genres and styles to show to a broad audience. I built the idea/concept around the word "letter," and named the festival Carta ("letter" in Italian) to suggest that the audience could receive/see a letter from the students' different countries. Reflecting on the characteristics of a student, I created a logo that doesn’t look perfect but gives a rough and raw feeling.
