Humans are the most social creatures in the world and we are influenced by our emotional, relational environment every day. We are not good, however, at expressing ourselves and we often prefer to be alone. People always want to hug each other after hurting. We get together because of loneliness, but sometimes become more lonely because of the gathering.
This project was inspired by Ms. Chen Li's song “Qun Ju Sheng Wu.” I designed the album and other packaging for this song. I used a tulip plant that always grows in clusters as my background; humans are kind of similar to tulips. The cycle of reunion and separation has been round and round, like flowers also waiting for the next spring.
