This project called for an original take on the game of chess. My idea was to create a board that would let you make an original art piece with every game that is played, by making a hole in every playable slot and adding a paintbrush to the bottom of each piece. The canvas underneath would spin with each turn and, at the end, a unique story would be told about the game.
