The Teapot Heels were originally created for “Obsessorize," a public accessories-themed art exhibition along Madison Avenue in collaboration with Marie Claire. For my piece, I took broken antique teapots from the 1920s and tiled them back together to create the shoes. This piece stood in front of the Met Breuer from October through November 2018 and has been featured recently in two other exhibitions (another on Madison Avenue and one at the School of Visual Arts Gallery).
