Cultural museums are everywhere, but there was one, the Studio Museum in Harlem, that had been kept quiet. Their logo was minimal and had what seemed to be a comfortable sans-serif logotype, that's it. This museum was right up my alley of interest, with opportunities to understand what a studio museum is and what comes with it being in Harlem, along with my curiosity and study of polysemy, linguistics, and especially slang. I began by establishing a color palette to push the envelope but keep the strength that upholds the Studio Museum. I also curated posters amplifying the museum's unique environment for artist residencies and its Black art archive.
