Humans live in a high-tech world, but most of them might not be as happy as humans who live in a hunter-gatherer society. We face more and more mental disorders like Bipolar disorder, Depressive disorder, Anxiety disorder, etc. Focusing on the inner spiritual world of “modern and futuristic humans” is an essential and exciting topic.
Inspired by Ridley Scott's 1982 film Blade Runner, I was attracted by the group of people who live under the "cloud" in the movie's real time of 1982 and movie time of 2019. By cutting and sewing pieces from the recycled clothes I collected, I tried to create the margin's mood of borderland. Various emotions, races, and cultures are mixed in the area; the residents have to wear their specific helmets.
