"It can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones." When I first heard of John Cage and his stories, it was like opening a giant door for me. He had a new way of thinking and great creativity. In his world, Cage tried to break old boundaries, giving meaning to silence. The reactions and emotions of the audience become a significant part of his work. Cage inspires me to think and listen to things from a different perspective. I began to rethink how I'm going to approach this book.
If silence is a kind of music, are the letters, words, and sentences in the book and music annotated? At first glance, it appears like a regular book. However, it is actually filled with coincidental sounds. For me, the book is something that I am used to. However, somehow, all of a sudden I experience it differently. People sometimes ignore old things and need new things to stimulate their emotions and visual impressions. I created an experimental book where I expressed my interest in old things and inventiveness.
