In partnership with Marie Claire Magazine, the School of Visual Arts was asked to create accessories out of everyday objects to be displayed in cases along Madison Avenue. For two months, my Milk & Cookies shoes were displayed on the corner of 82nd Street and Madison Avenue. I was inspired by milkmen and milk bottles of the 1950s to create an abstract milk pour platform heel resting on over 40 hand-painted sandwich cookies.
