Suds Soap came from a unique assignment: take a luxury product (like soap) and use a lowbrow design for inspiration (like a used car sales dealership) to find a unique branding solution that juxtaposed the two. The colorful bright advertisement signs on the lot, the kitschy display typefaces, and Americana automobile iconography like the pine tree air fresheners inspired me. Each scent represents an exaggerated, fun, and camp aspect of the experience of buying a used car.
