Whisper of Nature is a font design project inspired by botanist and photographer Anna Atkins. She was considered the first person to publish a book with the image produced by cyanotype.In this project, I want to experiment with the shape of flowers, leaves, and plants. I placed the plants on the paper painted with sensitizer solution and exposed them under the sun. The area exposed to the sunshine turns to cyan-blue while other sites remain the same. This project is my method to document the shape of nature and put it into a graphic design context.
