After a trauma, it’s normal to experience flashbacks, anxiety, and other uncomfortable symptoms. This project focuses on two grounding techniques, the 5-4-3-2-1 technique and breathing visualizations. By providing a visually pleasing experience, parents and children can read the book and practice the exercises together in order to build a positive relationship.
