This is a book about font Gill Sans. This font is what I came into contact with in college and simply made documents related to it.
After that, the frequency of using this font gradually increased, and I became interested in the history and story behind it. In the process of collecting data, I came up with the idea of integrating data and displaying it. The design idea is also different from before. Although Gill Sans is the whole font, the structure and level in the book are clearer. It includes four main parts: History & Development, Designer, Characteristic, and Legal Aspects. The first two parts are the most important. This is the relevant content and information that I think is directly related to this font.
To make it more obvious in the book, I used two main colors to distinguish the modules. Considering that excessively large paragraphs of text would consume my attention and interest in reading, I would appropriately use dotted lines to select major summaries, introductions and examples in each chapter. To help readers better understand that part of the content.
