A new packaging for De Cecco's pasta boxes. Inspired by a pantry item in a retro '50s pastel kitchen. In pop culture, decades are defined by trends and fads, like the Roaring '20s, psychedelic '60s, and punk rock '80s. We love to romanticize those decades in nostalgia. The pasta we see on the shelves now has been the same for quite a while. It's recognizable and boring. I want to express the concept of old and new in my design. This pasta box is not something you'll see in the 50s, but instead alludes to its style and stands out amongst simple pasta boxes like Barilla.
