Album design for Brian Eno. Eno’s Ambient 1: Music For Airports is an album created for soothing the chaos of a busy airport. Airports are familiar yet disorienting at the same time, thus Helvetica is used in a new way in order to reinforce this idea. The goal of the typography is to have a presence, yet disappear into the noise. After printing, scanning, and collaging the images together, I could create a visual piece with a hand-touched feel.
