I designed a science-themed newspaper called The Science Forecast with sectioned articles: feature articles, artificial intelligence, tech policy, scientist interviews, and biotechnology. The color scheme is influenced by the periodic table and my chemistry instructor's coloring technique. Each article section has a color. The lines connecting pieces of information are inspired by chemical formula
I chose the Favorit Mono typeface for headings and the Folio typeface for the body text because both are legible and convey a serious tone. Favorit Mono, created by the young artist Dinamo, is futuristic and reminiscent of spaceship panels.
