The Chinese art dress is inspired by traditional Chinese ink wash painting. As a Chinese individual who has been studying traditional culture since childhood, I am excited to blend cutting-edge fashion with the visual essence of our age-old heritage. The undulating peaks of mountains accentuating the chest, branches encircling the waist like a belt, and the fusion of elements from Chinese painting with the human form create a fresh visual language.
The work was exhibited on Madison Avenue, 2023 and Dèbut 24 Gallery Show at School of Visual Arts, 2024.
