This book design is derived from Joan Didion's essay, "Goodbye to All That." In crafting this design, I fused my own interpretative lens of the essay with insights drawn from my multicultural experiences gained from living abroad. Through a meticulous integration of various artistic mediums, including integration of various artistic mediums, including Lynda Benglis' sculptural works, my own expressive blind drawings, and the cohesive interplay of photography, the design intensifies the reader's engagement with the profound meanings of emptiness people feel in the big city.
