For this project, I focused on selecting an object and researching its associated meanings and themes. I chose a match and its ties to fire and spirituality. The resulting magazine emphasizes the positive aspects of fire, showcasing its potential for renewal and hope. I designed a magazine package comprising two issues housed in a box. Both the box and magazine covers feature friction paper, allowing users to strike matches directly on them. This interactive design element engages readers in a tactile experience. The first issue includes blank pages meant for writing, ripping, and burning, encouraging active participation in the exploration of the themes presented.
