Kinbo is a virtual parenting simulation designed to help prospective adoptive parents assess their readiness and compatibility with children, especially teenagers who are less likely to be adopted. Using advanced fictional technology, Kinbo creates immersive simulations that replicate real-life parenting based on variables like age, gender, personality, and talents. Partnering with adoption agencies, the system offers a realistic, category-based virtual family experience—far beyond a standard app—where the child “lives” with the parents. After the full experience, Kinbo evaluates the parent-child match to minimize failed adoptions and reduce emotional distress for both parties. It is also promoted in public spaces.
