This book project captures a typographic journey through New York City—literally. From Battery Park to the Guggenheim Museum, the word "New York" was collected in all its forms: on signs, shirts, graffiti, and storefronts. Alongside “NY” and translations in other languages like Korean, these snapshots were gathered and curated into a visual archive that reflects the city’s layered identity. The result is a playful yet thoughtful collection that documents how New York brands itself across space, culture, and language, through the lens of typography and everyday encounters.
