A rebranding project for a Chinese tea and pastry shop located in New York’s Chinatown. The brand is built around one core idea: Slow down, reconnect, and be present. In a fast-paced urban environment, Chill Tea encourages people to pause and enjoy a moment of calm through tea culture.
The core color palette is derived from three featured teas — each tied to specific regions in China: Da Hong Pao, from Wuyi Mountains — reflected in a deep reddish brown tone. Longjing, from Hangzhou — captured with a cool blue tone inspired by misty mountain air. Pu’erh, from Yunnan — interpreted through a warm, earthy brown palette.
