The New York Art Book Fair presented by Printed Matter is a huge event that showcases hundreds of exhibitors showing art books of all kinds. The current identity is non existent and changes every year. For this rebrand I set out to create an identity that can grow and expand with the NYABF every year. My concept for this rebrand is Unity through the Grid. Grids are the foundation of all design, and every book designer utilizes them in some form. This concept highlights how each book’s structure is distinct, yet all are connected through the grid. It also embodies how each and every exhibitor at the NYABF is different yet tied together with the love for books.
